QSC Launches NV-1-H-WE: First 2025 Product for Q-SYS NV Series
AV company QSC has launched the NV-1-H-WE, the first product of the year for its Q-SYS NV Series. This wallplate encoder joins the portfolio, complementing existing products like the NV-32-H and NV-21-HU, offering customized video distribution solutions.
The NV-1-H-WE supports single-channel HDMI input and integrates seamlessly into the Q-SYS ecosystem. It enables high-quality, low-latency video signal distribution up to 4K resolution over IP networks using Q-SYS Shift. This makes it suitable for professional environments like classrooms, conference rooms, and hospitality spaces, providing a space-saving and aesthetically pleasing solution.
The product's launch is one of the first made since QSC's acquisition by Acuity Brands. The integration aims to develop more innovative, smarter, safer, and greener environments. Marcus Hendrix, head of product management for Q-SYS products at QSC, oversees the development of such products.
The NV-1-H-WE, a wallplate encoder, offers discreet and innovative network video distribution for spaces unsuitable for traditional surface-mount enclosures. It joins the Q-SYS NV Series portfolio, providing customized video distribution solutions tailored to specific connectivity requirements and form factors.
