Real-Time Observation of The Big Walk in the City Granted to Tomicchi

On the 9th of August, Tomsk will witness a significant event as Dmitry Polyakov, the author of the "City Doesn't Annoy" project, embarks on a 12-hour-long "Big Walk" through the city.

The walk will commence from the Communal Bridge and conclude at the New one, taking participants through a variety of urban landscapes. The route includes both convenient and problematic areas of the city, offering a comprehensive view of Tomsk's urban environment.

Dmitry Polyakov has planned to showcase the city from a pedestrian's perspective, highlighting embankments, staircases, courtyards, pedestrian trails, and lesser-known locations. Citizens are encouraged to join the walk and share their thoughts on city improvement with Dmitry.

However, due to safety reasons, Dmitry will be walking alone during the event. Tomsk residents cannot track his movement in real-time through the 2GIS app, but they can add his account as a friend in the app to follow his journey after the event.

For those who wish to track the walk in real-time, the 2GIS app offers a solution. By opening the app and searching for "Tomsk", users can find the Big Walk event or route. If they know the starting point or key landmarks, they can enter them in the search bar to find and follow the path.

The live location or navigation feature can help users follow the route as Dmitry Polyakov’s Big Walk progresses. Users can also check the events or community section within 2GIS for live updates.

After completing the Big Walk, Dmitry Polyakov plans to publish the route track, a photo report, and a list of key points. He will also share photos, videos, and comments about the city during the walk on social media.

For more information about the route details and other project information, visit the "City Doesn't Annoy" website. The organizers do not rule out the possibility of an open route for everyone in future Big Walk events.
