Redesigned Minimalist Model One by Unimatic Now Boasts Impressive 600m Water Resistance for Deep-Sea Diving
The Italian watchmaker Unimatic has released a new addition to its ProDiver collection, the U1S-T-PD6-B. This high-performance dive watch boasts exceptional engineering capabilities, featuring a lightweight, sandblasted Grade 2 titanium case with a diameter of 40mm (41.5mm with bezel) and a slim profile of 12.3mm thickness (without crystal).
The U1S-T-PD6-B offers a 600-meter water resistance rating, thanks to its robust construction with a 3mm thick double-domed sapphire crystal with internal anti-reflective coating and a professional diver screw-down caseback.
Key performance characteristics include a Swiss automatic Sellita SW200-1 caliber, running at 28,800 vibrations per hour, with hacking seconds, bi-directional automatic winding, manual winding capability, a 41-hour power reserve, and accuracy around ±12 seconds per day.
The watch's design combines professional diving features with an elegant minimalist Italian design. The matte black dial features high-contrast, outlined oversized printed indexes enhanced by Super-LumiNova lume in orange on hour and second hands and blue-green (BGW9) on the minute hand and bezel markers. The ceramic bezel insert and hands use dual-color lume for functional clarity in dark underwater conditions.
The U1S-T-PD6-B is paired with a durable black nylon NATO strap with titanium hardware, adding to its overall durability and style. The watch is limited to 300 pieces and is available now through Unimatic's website.
In addition to the U1S-T-PD6-B, Unimatic has also released two stainless steel variants, the U1-PD3-B and U1-PD3-OR. These models share the same water resistance to 300m as the U1S-T-PD6-B, but the U1S-T-PD6-B stands out with its titanium construction and 600m water resistance. The steel models start at €750 (~$875), while the titanium U1S-T-PD6-B commands €1,500 (~$1,750).
The U1-PD3-OR, with its orange dial, stands out as the most visually striking watch in the trio, offering ProDiver functionality in Unimatic's most familiar colorway. All three models are limited to 300 pieces each and are available now through Unimatic's website.
