Hospitable's Updated Guest Portal Streamlines Short-Term Rental Management

Hospitable, the short-term rental super app, has recently updated its Guest Portal, offering hosts a more efficient and branded way to manage their properties. The update includes features such as custom branding, smart automation, and an intuitive interface.

With the new custom branding feature, hosts can personalize the portal with their own logos, colours, and even use a custom domain. This provides guests with a consistent, professional brand experience across booking channels like Airbnb, Booking.com, Vrbo, iCal, and direct bookings.

The automation of upsells is another key feature. Hosts can now offer personalized upsell options such as early check-ins, late checkouts, movie night bundles, firewood, and local excursions directly through the portal. Hospitable's AI inserts tailored upsell offers into guest messages using a 'smart code,' and hosts can fully customize each upsell with photos, pricing, and descriptions to reflect their brand.

The portal also automates the collection and release of security deposits, handling payment processes securely with ID verification and chargeback protection. Deposits are collected two days before check-in and released two days after checkout, reducing manual intervention.

Digital rental agreements are now seamlessly managed within the portal. Check-in instructions are automatically withheld until guests complete all necessary requirements, ensuring compliance and security.

Automated guest information collection and ID verification are integrated, enhancing security and simplifying check-in processes. Hosts can set listing-specific requirements and automatically block check-in instructions until agreements are completed.

This allows hosts to focus more on delivering a unique hospitality experience as the technology manages operational details," he said.

Hospitable started as a time-saving Property Management System (PMS) in 2016 and has since evolved into a short-term rental super app. The Hospitable app automates guest messaging with AI, optimizes nightly rates, manages rental agreements, security deposits, teams, and direct booking websites.
