Robot Manufacturing Industry Networking Event Held During the 3rd CISCE Conference
Hubei's Humanoid Robotics Industry Shines at the 3rd China International Supply Chain Expo
The Hubei humanoid robotics industry made a significant impact at the 3rd China International Supply Chain Expo (CISCE) held in Beijing in July 2025. The event served as a platform for strategic partnerships, global cooperation agreements, and market exposure, affirming Hubei's position as a key player in the evolving humanoid robotics landscape.
The Hubei Humanoid Robotics Industry Chain Matchmaking Conference, held during the CISCE, attracted over 400 participants including ambassadors, experts, industry leaders, and financial executives. The theme of the conference was "Synergizing Cutting-Edge Innovations, Empowering New Quality Productive Forces."
Hubei showcased a humanoid robotics exhibition zone with 22 enterprises presenting over 80 exhibits, including 20 fully integrated humanoid robots. This display highlighted the province’s comprehensive robotics ecosystem, spanning smart manufacturing, core component research and development, application scenarios, and ecosystem development.
Strategic emphasis was placed on Hubei’s strong innovation ecosystem, rich scientific and technological resources, and openness for international cooperation. The China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT) vowed to enhance its global service network to support Hubei’s ambitions to build platforms for international collaboration and develop the humanoid robotics industry as a leading global brand.
The Hubei Humanoid Robotics Industry Alliance also signed strategic agreements with three partners: the Zhejiang Robot Industry Association, the Humanoid Robotics Innovation Center, and the Zhongguancun Rongzhi Specialized Robotics Alliance. The collaboration will focus on R&D, market expansion, and talent exchange, aiming to build a stronger robotics ecosystem.
Hu Zhonghai, Director of CCPIT Hubei, emphasized humanoid robotics as a key driver for tech innovation and industrial upgrading. He outlined a robotics roadmap for Hubei, including milestones in one, three, and five years.
One of the highlights of the exhibition was the new humanoid robot from Hubei Optics Valley Dongzhi Embodied Intelligence Technology Co. Ltd. This robot is set to expand into government services, industrial operations, elderly care, and more. Lou Kaiqi, Deputy General Manager of the company, introduced the robot at the conference.
JCBot, another Hubei-based company, showcased products serving industries such as industrial production, tourism, firefighting, and warehousing. Zhao Xingwei, JCBot’s legal representative and professor at HUST, discussed JCBot’s industrialized technologies and their application in over 10 fields.
Zhao Xingwei also pledged to enhance R&D for higher-value applications and industrial upgrades. He emphasized the need to leverage Hubei’s advantages in geography, industry, and policies, with 325 Fortune Global 500 firms present in the province.
Yu Jianlong, Vice Chairman of CCPIT, spoke at the conference and highlighted Hubei's strategic location, rich sci-tech resources, innovation ecosystem, and openness. He stated that CCPIT will enhance its service network and global partnerships to support Hubei in building platforms for international cooperation.
