View Box Houses: Revolutionizing Smart Modular Homes in Europe
View Box Houses, a Romanian startup, is making waves in the smart modular home industry with its innovative approach and rapid delivery times. Founded by three entrepreneurs, the company has invested over EUR 1 million in developing a complete ecosystem for smart modular homes.
One of the co-founders, Vlad Ghiț, started his first company at the tender age of 18 and grew it to over 100 employees. Lucian Lenț, another co-founder, brings over 30 years of experience from the HoReCa sector to the table. Cristian Petruș, the third co-founder, has more than a decade of experience in the furniture production industry in the US.
View Box Houses boasts nine fully equipped housing models, with surfaces ranging from 12 to 43 sqm. Prices for these models start at EUR 21,800 (excluding VAT). The startup has showrooms in Bucharest, Brasov, Cluj-Napoca, with Timisora and Dublin to follow soon.
To ensure quality and control over the manufacturing process, View Box Houses found a partner and made significant investments to adapt the production line. They visited over 10 locations in China to find a factory capable of producing homes according to their technical specifications.
The investment primarily targeted the production line and internal departments for streamlining all stages of construction and delivery. As a result, these housing models can be delivered by View Box Houses in approximately 90 days.
View Box Houses holds exclusive rights to their modular home models in Europe. They are also collaborating with partners in Spain, Italy, Ireland, and Australia. The startup plans to integrate their homes into public or tourism infrastructure projects.
Development plans for View Box Houses include launching a new model by 2026, expanding presence across Europe, and collaborating with authorities or developers. They also offer full maintenance, post-sale support, and technical drawings for various foundation types.
Cristian Petruș, a co-founder of View Box Houses, stated that to date, 15 units have been delivered by the startup, and other projects are underway. With their rapid delivery times, innovative designs, and commitment to quality, View Box Houses is poised to revolutionize the smart modular home industry in Europe.
In the pursuit of expanding their influence in the smart modular home industry, View Box Houses has ventured into technology-based investments, aiming to innovate and streamline their production process. To that end, they have allocated substantial funds for the development of their partnered factory in China, focusing on producing homes that align with their technical specifications.
