Samsung Unveils Streamlined Galaxy Tab S11 Lineup for 2025

Samsung is set to launch its new Galaxy Tab S11 series in October 2025, featuring two models – the Galaxy Tab S11 and the premium Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra. The South Korean tech giant aims to offer a balance of performance and versatility for various user needs.

The new lineup will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9400+ chipset, promising strong performance suitable for demanding tasks. Both models will come with 12GB RAM as standard, with storage options ranging from 128GB (entry-level), 256GB, and 512GB.

The Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra will maintain a similar 14.6-inch display size as its predecessor but will reduce the front display notch size. The regular Tab S11 will be available in gray and silver color options.

In terms of battery life, the Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra will boast a larger 11,600mAh battery compared to the previous generation’s 11,200mAh, supporting 45W fast charging. The regular Tab S11 will have an 8,400mAh battery, while a Tab S10 Lite successor may feature an 8,000mAh battery, all supporting 45W fast charging.

Both tablets will ship with Android 16 and One UI 8.0 pre-installed, ensuring the latest software experience and improvements in usability. The tablets will come bundled with the S Pen stylus, maintaining Samsung's focus on note-taking and productivity features.

Samsung has simplified its tablet lineup by focusing on just two models this year, abandoning the "Plus" variant used previously. This move aims to clarify consumer choice while catering to both casual users and power users with the standard and Ultra variants, respectively.

New mid-tier and entry-level tablets are expected to pair with the mainline Galaxy Tab S11 series, completing the Galaxy Tab S11 series portfolio. Samsung is also preparing for the potential demise of the S Pen, hinting at new developments in this area.

As for the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Flip 7, they have been a smash hit in the US, with up to a 50% increase. Samsung is also teasing discounts for the Galaxy S25 series. The company has confirmed an early launch for the Galaxy S25 FE.

A low-res render leak shows the Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra with a single front-facing lens and a smaller, U-shaped cutout. There are rumours that the Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra may drop Bluetooth from the included stylus, similar to the Galaxy S25 Ultra.

In conclusion, the Galaxy Tab S11 series slates might be expensive, but matching FE and A-series entries are on the way, ensuring Samsung's commitment to catering to a wide range of budgets.
