Leapmotor Offers $7,000 Cashback on C10 Electric SUV

Leapmotor, the Chinese electric vehicle (EV) manufacturer, has entered the Australian market with a bang, offering a significant cashback incentive on its C10 electric SUV. The offer, which extends until the end of September 2025, provides up to $7,000 factory bonus on MY24 models and up to $4,000 off for MY25 models [1][2][5].

The C10 is a feature-rich family vehicle, boasting dual-zone automatic climate control, electrically adjustable, lie-flat front seats, a fixed panoramic glass roof with electric sunshade, a 14.6-inch high-resolution central touchscreen with navigation, and a 10.25-inch LCD driver instrument cluster, among other features [1]. Additionally, it comes equipped with Wi-Fi and 4G connectivity, over-the-air software updates, Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) capability, LEAP Pilot intelligent driver assistance system, NFC and Bluetooth® smartphone key functionality, and more [1].

The C10 is powered by a single 160 kW rear-mounted motor that delivers up to 320 Nm of torque. It has a battery pack with a capacity of 69.9 kWh, capable of fast-charging at a rate of up to 84 kW. This battery pack can deliver up to 420 km of WLTP range [2].

The C10, announced in Q4 2025, is priced from $45,888 before on-roads for the entry-level Style variant, and $49,888 for the more premium Design variant [3]. The top-spec variant of the MY24 C10 BEV Design is priced at $51,500 driveaway, with an additional $7,000 factory bonus, making the driveaway price $44,500 [1].

The C10 comes in five colours, including Jade Green, and offers more space at a price usually reserved for smaller electric SUVs like the BYD Atto 3, measuring 4.74 meters in length [4]. It also comes with a comprehensive warranty, providing a 7-year 160,000km warranty for the vehicle and an 8-year 160,000km warranty on the battery pack [6].

Riz Akhtar, the founder of carloop and a mechanical engineer with a passion for EVs, is keeping a close eye on the Leapmotor C10. He commends the brand for its focus on reducing transport emissions in Australia and its entry into the local market [7].

As other brands like Tesla roll out price cuts and incentives, the Australian EV market is set for an exciting period of growth and competition [8]. Reports suggest that the more affordable B10 model may also come to Australia, expanding Leapmotor's EV lineup in the country [9].
