Solaris to Display Three Emission-Free Bus Models at Busworld 2025 Event
Solaris Bus & Coach, a leading manufacturer of electric buses, has announced that it will be attending Busworld 2025, which takes place at Brussels Expo from October 4-9. The company will showcase three zero-emission buses at the event: the Urbino 18 hydrogen, Urbino 12 electric, and the newly unveiled Solaris Urbino 10.5 electric.
The Solaris Urbino 10.5 electric bus, which will be unveiled on October 3, is another milestone in Solaris' journey toward providing zero-emission solutions for public transport. This fully electric bus is set to join the Solaris fleet at Busworld, along with the Urbino 12 electric bus and the Urbino 18 hydrogen bus, Solaris' most popular electric bus.
The Urbino 18 hydrogen bus, which will also be showcased at Busworld, was awarded the title of Bus of the Year 2025. The daily presentations of the Urbino 10.5 electric and the Urbino 12 electric buses will occur during the rest of the Busworld event.
Visitors to Solaris' stand (502 in Hall 5) will have the opportunity to learn more about these innovative buses and their contributions to sustainable public transport. Solaris will be presenting its Urbino 12 electric bus and the Urbino 10.5 electric bus at Busworld, in addition to the Urbino 18 hydrogen bus.
While specific details about the exact announcement timing for the Solaris Urbino 10.5 electric bus are not yet available, the Leipzig Transport Company is scheduled to sign a contract for Solaris electric buses on September 1, 2025, although this contract is for the Urbino 18 model.
