Spigen is gearing up for the Galaxy Z Flip 7 series, as premature case listings surfaces
In the world of tech, anticipation is building for Samsung's upcoming foldable models, the Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE and the Galaxy Z Flip 7. Recent leaks, case listings, and certifications have provided a wealth of information about these devices, offering a glimpse into what we can expect from Samsung's mid-year launch event in July 2025.
### Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE
The Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE, a potential successor to the Z Flip 6, is expected to maintain a similar design, size, and display specs. The device will boast a 6.7-inch Foldable Dynamic AMOLED 2X main display, complete with a 120Hz refresh rate and HDR10+ support, much like its predecessor. The cover display will measure around 3.4 inches, offering a resolution of 720 x 748 pixels at a 60Hz refresh rate.
The device will keep its IP48 dust and water resistance rating and an aluminum frame with Gorilla Glass Victus 2 on the outside. A notable change is the expected switch from the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip used in the Z Flip 6 to the Exynos 2400. The Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE is also rumoured to come in a variety of fun finishes, including Mint, Yellow, Peach, and Silver Shadow.
### Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 7 (Regular Model)
The Galaxy Z Flip 7, on the other hand, is expected to undergo more significant changes. The main internal screen could grow slightly larger to about 6.85 inches, while the cover display is set to expand from 3.4 inches to around 4 inches. This upgrade aims to better compete with the Motorola Razr Ultra (2025).
The device is expected to use Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite chip, and a larger 4,300 mAh battery is rumoured, potentially offering the longest battery life in the series so far. The camera setup is expected to be similar to the Galaxy Z Flip 6, with improvements coming from software, particularly the upgraded ProVisual engine.
### Release Date
Both the Galaxy Z Flip 7 and Z Flip 7 FE are anticipated to be officially announced at Samsung’s Galaxy Unpacked event in July 2025. Early leaks and case listings indicate that these devices are imminent for launch.
### In Summary
The Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE offers incremental upgrades with a new chip (Exynos 2400) and colour options but largely retains the same design, size, and display specs as the Z Flip 6. The Galaxy Z Flip 7, however, features a slightly larger main and cover display, a Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC, a larger battery, and modest camera improvements through software.
