Step Dubai 2025 Concludes with 8,000 Attendees and $9 Billion in Funding

The 13th edition of Step Dubai, the Middle East's leading tech event, concluded successfully with over 8,000 attendees and 200 speakers. The event offered startups access to a staggering $9 billion in funding, further solidifying Dubai's role as a global tech hub.

Alia bint Abdulla Al Mazrouei, Minister of State for Entrepreneurship, inaugurated the event at Dubai Internet City. She was accompanied by Abdulla Belhoul, CEO of TECOM Group; Ammar Al Malik, Executive Vice President of Commercial at TECOM Group; and Ray Dargham, CEO of Step. Ammar Al Malik highlighted the importance of entrepreneurship in driving technological advancements, aligning with Dubai's Economic Agenda 'D33'.

Ray Dargham noted the significance of this expansion, stating that Step is empowering partners to bring its experience to their markets. This expansion marks a significant milestone for Step, enabling it to extend its impact beyond the Middle East. Step announced its continued international expansion with Step Istanbul debuting on May 12 and Step San Francisco returning on August 20. The annual tech-focused event serves as a platform for startups, investors, and innovators across the region, fostering innovation and bringing global talent together.
