Explore this week's leading cryptocurrency airdrops, featuring distributions from Optimism, Aztec, and Huma Finance, granting users chances to bag some rewards.

Top Three Crypto Distributions of Week Four, April Edition

Cryptos are attempting a comeback, with Bitcoin (BTC) hitting a potential $90,000 mark. With an optimistic atmosphere, startups are introducing enticing offers in the form of airdrops, giving crypto enthusiasts a chance to engage with new platforms without any initial financial investment. Let's delve into some exciting participation opportunities from three projects backed by heavyweight investors.

Optimism

Optimism, a Layer-2 blockchain, is one of the hottest crypto airdrops this week. After raising a whopping $267.50 million, Optimism benefits from the support of notable investors such as Andreessen Horowitz, Coinbase Ventures, Paradigm, and IDEO CoLab Ventures, and more.

The airdrop pertains to a SuperStacks Campaign, which opened on April 16 and runs until June 30.

"As many chains build as one, a new network structure is emerging to solve fragmentation in Ethereum. This network is modular, interoperable, and composable by default. We call it the Superchain: and it changes everything," Optimism summed up.

Rewards are handed out in the form of points, given for interacting with the projects. Participants also earn rewards for providing liquidity, combining scalable blockchains into a single ecosystem to resolve Ethereum fragmentation.

Carrying out actual tasks brings 10 EXP (experience points) per $1 of daily liquidity. In the past, Optimism has conducted five airdrops, distributing over 265 million tokens.

"You might be eligible for the 6th airdrop without realizing it. In the system, we gather badges as you perform operations on Optimism. However, since it counts your previous operations when you log in, you may have accumulated many badges," one airdrop farmer explained.

Minimal effort could lead to rewards, but keep in mind that participating in the Optimism airdrop does not guarantee future rewards. Instead, it merely presents an opportunity to earn points.

Aztec

Another top crypto airdrop is Aztec, a privacy-focused Layer-2 zero-knowledge (ZK) rollup on Ethereum. Aztec boasts an impressive $119.1 million in funding from investors such as Andreessen Horowitz (a16z), Paradigm, Consensys, and Coinbase Ventures.

Earlier this week, the network announced the Aztec Sequencer Form, preparing for a public testnet. Interested participants were invited to complete the form to secure early access to the testnet. Historically, blockchain projects often reward testnet participants with tokens, adding weight to the likelihood of an airdrop in Aztec's case.

Huma Finance

Huma Finance, a PayFi (Payment Finance) network built on Solana, also deserves a spot on this week's watchlist. Huma Finance aims to revolutionize global payment settlements using blockchain technology.

The project launched version 2.0 point farming exclusively on the Solana network. Participants can deposit USDC tokens and earn Feathers (points). This version does not require KYC, and more pools are available. Recently, Huma Finance announced social and deposit quests on Galxe, giving users a chance to earn a share of $2,000 by completing these quests while possessing at least level 2 of the Web3 Passport.
