Triton Completes Purchase of Bosch's Security Division

The security and communications technology landscape has seen a significant shift with the debut of KEENFINITY Group at ISC West 2025. This new entity, formed following the acquisition of Bosch Group’s security and communications technology product business by European investment firm Triton, signifies a strategic focus on innovation, quality, and global growth.

Historically, the acquired business was a key part of Bosch’s well-established security and communications technologies, renowned for high-quality products and brands such as Bosch, Electro-Voice, Dynacord, RTS, and Telex. These brands represent advanced intelligent video systems, access control, intrusion alarm technology, and communication systems.

Post-acquisition and rebranding, KEENFINITY Group continues to develop and manufacture all products independently, operating globally with manufacturing and distribution centers located in Straubing (Germany), Ovar (Portugal), Hermosillo (Mexico), and Zhuhai (China). This global footprint allows flexibility across Europe, the Americas, and China.

The rebranding and new ownership highlight a strategic shift to leverage the company’s legacy and expand its market reach as an independent enterprise dedicated solely to security and communications technology. The CEO, Peter Loeffler, emphasises the commitment to customer expectations and evolving market needs under KEENFINITY’s new stewardship.

At ISC West 2025, KEENFINITY Group unveiled the new company identity with a soft launch, marking its official entry into the market. The company also reintroduced Radionix for its intrusion detection panels, marking the beginning of a phased rebranding for specific product lines.

The acquisition of Bosch's security and communications technology product business by Triton aligns with its strategy to support and develop market-leading companies in security and building technologies. The combined business employed over 4,200 people globally and reported approximately $1.1 billion (€1 billion) in revenue for fiscal year 2024.

Bosch’s product names will continue for a transitional period following the acquisition, with signage for the KEENFINITY brand being displayed at Bosch’s booth during ISC West 2025. The acquisition was first announced in December 2024 and was completed on June 30, 2025.

In summary, KEENFINITY Group originated from Bosch’s former security and communications technology product business, acquired by Triton in July 2025 and rebranded accordingly. It operates as a standalone company with global manufacturing and distribution facilities. Its product lines include intelligent video systems, access control, intrusion alarms, and communication systems from legacy brands Bosch, Electro-Voice, Dynacord, RTS, and Telex. The rebranding signifies a strategic focus on innovation, quality, and global growth as an independent entity.
