Xiaomi, the popular tech company, has announced the launch of a new variant of its YU7 SUV, dubbed the YU7 Max, set to debut on February 27. The public is invited to submit feedback on the company's Twitter profile (@Xiaomi) for the YU7 from February 20-26.
The YU7 Max is powered by dual electric motors, supplied by Inovance Automotive and United Automotive Electronic Systems, and boasts lithium iron phosphate (LFP) batteries from BYD's battery division FinDreams Battery. This new variant, measuring 4,999 mm in length, 1,996 mm in width, and 1,600 mm in height, weighs 2,425 kg and boasts a wheelbase of 3,000 mm.
The YU7 Max significantly outperforms its predecessor, the YU7 Pro, in terms of power, acceleration, and torque. The YU7 Pro, a dual-motor variant, had a total power output of 365 kW, with 130 kW at the front and 235 kW at the rear, generating 690 Nm of torque and accelerating from 0-100 km/h in 4.27 seconds. In contrast, the YU7 Max delivers a staggering 508 kW of peak power, 866 Nm of torque, and accelerates from 0-100 km/h in just 3.23 seconds.
