Unleashes the wild Lamborghini Diablo in a customized restoration effort by Eccentrica

The automotive world is abuzz with excitement as Eccentrica, a renowned restomod specialist based in San Marino, prepares to unveil the Diablo Pacchetto Titano at Monterey Car Week in California. This limited-edition restomod of the iconic Lamborghini Diablo is designed to deliver a thrilling, track-focused driving experience, while retaining the analog and retro essence that made the original Diablo a legend.

Key Features and Specifications

At the heart of the Diablo Pacchetto Titano lies a 5.7-liter naturally aspirated V12 engine, an overhauled version of the Diablo’s original powerplant. This engine is expected to generate approximately 550 horsepower and 443 b ft of torque, thanks to a remapped ECU that sharpens throttle response for an intense driving experience. To harness this power, Eccentrica has developed its own six-speed manual gearbox, offering a nostalgic open-gated transmission experience.

The chassis and suspension have been upgraded to handle the increased performance. Stiffer springs paired with recalibrated, adaptive dampers ensure sharper handling, while forged carbon-aluminum alloy wheels, sized 19 inches front and 20 inches rear, help reduce unsprung mass. Upgraded Brembo brakes with enhanced cooling ducts provide superior stopping power on the track.

Aerodynamic tweaks have been made to increase downforce without compromising the car’s clean, purposeful lines. A new fixed carbon fiber rear wing and subtle aerodynamic adjustments work together to enhance stability at high speeds.

Inside the Diablo Pacchetto Titano

The interior of the Diablo Pacchetto Titano boasts a blend of retro and modern design. Extensive use of Alcantara, billet aluminum accents, and race-inspired instruments create a motorsport-inspired ambiance. The steering wheel is racing-style and wrapped in grippy fabric, with a light blue marker indicating the 12 o'clock position.

Safety is paramount, and the Diablo Pacchetto Titano includes a built-in fire-suppression system to ensure peace of mind during track use.

Special Editions and Customisation

Two known custom trims for the Diablo Pacchetto Titano are the Rose Phoenix and Green Dragon, each adding bespoke styling elements to the base package. Eccentrica plans to produce 19 examples of the Pacchetto Titano, each tailored to the customer's exact specification. Two other Eccentrica cars on display in Monterey will demonstrate the potential for customisation, with one featuring a bespoke triple-layer Rose Gold livery and the other a Verde Chartreuse pastel exterior.

Emanuel Colombini, founder of Eccentrica, explains that the objective for the Pacchetto Titano was to amplify the driving experience without overshadowing the car’s core essence. The result is a track-focused but refined driving experience that enhances the original Diablo’s legendary V12 character without overly aggressive aerodynamic kits or extreme modifications, thereby preserving the car’s analog driving feel and retro charm.

The Diablo Pacchetto Titano is central to Eccentrica’s presentation at Monterey Car Week, promising to captivate audiences with its blend of heritage and high-performance technology.
