Unveiling the Variety of Future Ultraviolette Offerings
Ultraviolette Unveils Plans for Multiple Electric Vehicle Models
Indian electric vehicle manufacturer Ultraviolette is gearing up for an exciting future, with a range of new scooters and bikes in the pipeline. The company, known for its electric enduro bike, the Shockwave, and the Tesseract electric scooter, aims to launch all these offerings within the next 3 to 4 years.
The Shockwave, which generated a lot of interest among off-road riders, is set to have two more variants. These new versions might include adjustable suspension for improved off-road performance, better off-road riding kits, and a more powerful motor. The X series, set to showcase future adventure tourers, is also expected to resemble the F77 platform and will consist of three iterations with varying battery packs and adventure capability levels.
While the company's EV brands and timelines are reported to not share a cordial relationship, the focus remains on delivering innovative products. The Tesseract, which has at least two successors, will continue to be a key part of Ultraviolette's strategy. The upcoming scooters will be based on the Tesseract platform, but the pricing direction for these new models is uncertain, with a lean towards premium expected.
Ultraviolette has also announced the launch of the UV Shockwave and the Tesseract in Q1 of 2026. The X series will not resemble the KTM 390 Adventure, and the Ultraviolette B series will feature two unique bike designs. The B-Series models include the UV 32 B and UV 35 B, with models dated from 2003 to 2020; however, recent market release information is not explicitly detailed for the B-Series. The latest announced Ultraviolette model is the F77 Mach 2 Recon, a different line, scheduled for market launch in Europe at the end of October 2025.
The Tesseract and Shockwave are expected to be launched in the near future, but no specific launch timelines have been revealed for the B series. The company is also working on multiple new electric scooter and bike models, with the Ultraviolette B-Series models including the UV 32 B and UV 35 B. The Ultraviolette B-Series models, however, do not seem to be the focus of the company's immediate plans, with the F77 Mach 2 Recon being the latest announced model.
In summary, Ultraviolette is set to expand its portfolio with a range of innovative electric scooters and bikes, including the Shockwave and Tesseract, in the coming years. The company's focus remains on delivering high-quality, off-road capable electric vehicles, despite the reported challenges in coordinating its EV brands and timelines.
