Vauxhall & Opel Unveil 2012 Zafira Tourer: Striking Design, Spacious Interior
Vauxhall and Opel have unveiled the 2012 Zafira Tourer, the production version of the Zafira Concept from the Geneva Motor Show. The new model retains the sleek design of its concept car predecessor and offers a spacious interior with innovative seating.
The Zafira Tourer features a striking exterior, with boomerang headlights, a single-bar grille, and sideblades reminiscent of the Astra and Insignia. Under the hood, buyers can choose from a range of engines, including a 2.0-litre diesel in three variants, a 1.8-litre petrol, and a 1.4-litre turbo petrol.
Inside, the Zafira Tourer boasts a large panoramic roof and a spacious cabin thanks to the Flex7 seating system. The car is built on a front-wheel-drive chassis based on the Insignia, with a wider track for enhanced stability.
The 2012 Zafira Tourer, developed by Opel and produced at the Bochum plant in Germany, stays true to the Zafira Tourer Concept Car shown at the 2011 Geneva Motor Show. With its striking design, powerful engine options, and spacious interior, the new Zafira Tourer is set to make a mark in the market.
