The Tayron R-Line

The R-Line model, priced at $96,990, includes additional features such as 20-inch alloy wheels, a more comprehensive camera-view system, IQ. Light matrix headlamps, dynamic indicators, illuminated rear "VW" logo, sports steering wheel, and ergoActive part-leather front seats with heating, ventilation, and massage functions. The R-Line model also boasts a larger 15-inch infotainment and head-up display.

The R-Line model also benefits from the Progressive Steering, which adjusts the ratio to specific cornering circumstances. Exclusive to the R-Line is a $2000 Black package for the exterior, including the wheels. The top R-Line model of the Tayron has a 195kW/400Nm engine.

Comparison with the Tiguan

The Tayron is a replacement for the Tiguan Allspace. It is 202mm longer in the wheelbase and 253mm longer overall than the Tiguan. The ground clearance of the Tayron is 198mm, which is 22mm more than any Tiguan. The top R-Line model of the Tayron opens at $19k more than the entry-level Tiguan Life.

A new purple color called Ultraviolet Metallic is available for the Tayron, although only this hue in the range attracts a premium. The R-Line model of the Tayron includes the Touring Package features, but the ergoActive chairs are already included in the R-Line, reducing the cost of the package to $4000 for the R-Line model.

In summary, the Tayron offers a spacious, powerful, and feature-rich SUV experience, positioning itself as a compelling option in the mid-size SUV segment.
