Volvo Unveils V90 Cross Country at Paris Motor Show, Lasting Until September 2025

Volvo is preparing for the Paris Motor Show later this month with the official introduction of the new V90 Cross Country. This high-riding estate is set to replace the popular XC70 and will be available in 4WD D5 and T8 Twin Engine variants, but not as a front-wheel drive D4.

The first image of the V90 Cross Country shows it confidently parked on rough terrain by a lake, suggesting its off-road prowess. The vehicle retains the V90 body but features plastic cladding on the sides, larger bumpers with skid plates, a new grille, and an increased ride height. Volvo Cars will present the V90 Cross Country, but it's worth noting that production will end in September 2025, and orders have already closed. Looking ahead, Volvo has announced that it will unveil its next electric vehicle, the midsize SUV EX60, on January 21, 2026.

The Volvo V90 Cross Country is set to make an impression at the Paris Motor Show, demonstrating its robust off-road capabilities and distinctive design. While its production timeline is limited, Volvo enthusiasts can look forward to the upcoming EX60 electric SUV next year.
