We're Providing Real-Time Coverage of Apple's Significant ARM Event Here

Feeling that familiar sense of déjà vu? Yep, you're spot on! Apple's events seem to be happening more frequently than ever, and November's event is no exception. If September brought us the Apple Watch and iPad, and October delivered the new iPhones, it's clear that November is Apple's choice for debuting its ARM-powered MacBooks.

Just like the previous events, this one will begin streaming at 10 am PT/1 pm ET. And if you're wondering how to tune in, don't fret – we've got you covered! Keep an eye on this page where I'll be liveblogging the event, joined by my on-point technology pals, Catie Keck and John Biggs from Gizmodo.

Without a doubt, we're anticipating the emergence of Apple's first ARM-powered Macs. But as for which Mac models will make the Intel leap first, well, that's still a mystery. Bloomberg suggested last week that today's offering will include a 13-inch MacBook Air, a 13-inch MacBook Pro, and a 16-inch MacBook Pro. Rumors have also been swirling that the new chip will be based on the A14 powerhouse, found in the iPhone 12 lineup and the new iPad.

But don't stop at Macs; Apple may also surprise us with a range of other long-awaited gadgets. The highly anticipated AirPods Studio over-ear headphones have been plagued with manufacturing issues, and Apple's recent purging of all non-Beats or AirPods headphones from its stores is a clear sign that a new product could be on the way. AirTags, however, haven't been making much of an appearance lately. Though they first popped up in iOS 13, their expected release in 2020's second or third quarter has come and gone, leaving us wondering if they'll make an appearance today or even in 2021.

As with past events, today's live streaming session is likely to be brisk and jam-packed with information. But fear not – our dedicated team will be thriving on providing you with the deepest cuts and latest updates, ensuring no detail is missed. So while we wait for Apple to heed our request for a break until 2021, hang tight and enjoy the ride!

The tech industry is abuzz with anticipation for the upcoming Apple event in November, where we expect to see the debut of ARM-powered MacBooks. If you're planning to watch the live event, remember that it will stream at 10 am PT/1 pm ET, just like previous Apple events. You can keep up with the event on this page, as I'll be liveblogging it along with my technology partners from Gizmodo. Rumors suggest that Apple may not only introduce ARM-powered MacBooks but also unveil the long-awaited AirPods Studio over-ear headphones. Despite initial manufacturing issues, these headphones might finally make their debut during the event.
