Yorkville Sound introduces compact line array speaker system, named Paraline.
Yorkville Sound has unveiled its latest offering, the Paraline Compact Line Array, designed to deliver exceptional sound quality and ruggedness for both indoor and outdoor environments. The series, which includes the PSA26, PSA28, and additional models, is set to make its debut at the DJX show in Atlantic City, New Jersey.
The PSA26 boasts 850 Watts of peak power (600 Watts program) and features two 6-inch neodymium low-frequency (LF) drivers and one 1-inch neodymium high-frequency (HF) compression driver. The PSA28, on the other hand, offers 1400 Watts of peak power, combining two 8-inch neodymium woofers with two 1-inch compression drivers. Both models utilize Tom Danley's patented Paraline Lens for optimized sound dispersion, ensuring a wide and clear audio experience.
The PSA28 also benefits from Synergy Horn technology, enhancing its performance. Additionally, all four new models in the Paraline Compact Line Array are IP54-rated, making them suitable for outdoor use.
Jeff Cowling, Vice President of Sales & Marketing at Yorkville Sound, emphasized that the new Paraline series was designed to be more scalable, functional, and deliver greater output. The series is claimed to be the most versatile line array series, capable of adapting from small stages to flown touring systems.
The PSA15S and PSA18S subwoofers are designed to pair with the top boxes of the new Paraline Compact Line Array, adding an extra punch to the audio system. These subwoofers offer 3,000 Watts of peak power in a choice of 15" or 18" woofers.
The new Paraline Compact Line Array includes four powered enclosures for both ground stack and flown configurations, providing flexibility for various setup needs. The line array is built at Yorkville Sound's factory in Pickering, Ontario, ensuring quality craftsmanship.
